Viagra Stories
And then there
was no sex…
A middle class gentleman was observed incessantly chattering
about something he was obviously taken up with. As I
drew nearer this peculiar gentleman, I realized that
he was narrating something about his personal life to
a close friend. Well since it would have been none of
my business, I would have walked away; that would have
been the most respectable or ethical thing to do. However,
there was no harm in eavesdropping; it was a public
place after all, and within a free country too. Quite
frankly, I didn’t mean to misuse my free rights
in this way, but this was a matter of bettering my masculinity.
It appeared that the gentleman was quite taken up with
a dream he had after speaking to a pharmacist about
a tonic called ‘Viagra’. Quoting the gentleman,
“You would hardly believe it Tony my friend. It
was as though the pharmacist was warning me of my impending
doom. In another few years, he told me that I would
probably not be able to control anything in my life.
Frankly, I feel that this product is one that can maintain
all that I need, now and in the future as well.”
Then I hear Tony reply, “but why do you insist
upon this ‘Viagra’???? Does it really have
all that you want????
The gentleman ferociously replied, “Well of course
it does. I dread to say this but, at the end of my dream
the pharmacist told me that because of the shortage
and insufficient promotion of this tonic, men suffered,
and were left with no control.
Tony again asked, “But why?”
“Well”, answers the gentleman, “in
my dream, the pharmacist told me, Viagra was not marketed
anymore; people thought they could do without it. And
then there was no more sex”.
